hotlatte wrote
Sep 22, 2009 at 13:45
i think i have a better spot it's still in mianus river but basically starts at that spot were there is gnarly sloped log ride near nemuses and heads downwards.

Sep 17, 2009 at 16:54
to be honest haven't really planned anything yet but there is space for a couple rock drops and there are some old stone structures we can use

hotlatte wrote
Sep 17, 2009 at 13:51
cabin trail is like all the north in the park but i found a secluded area nearby which okayed but i don't the name of the trail. There is a canidate on it for a couple of drops and since it will be secluded and not visible we can do anything as long as we are building resposible and sustainibly

hotlatte wrote
Sep 16, 2009 at 17:41
and not visible from any trails

hotlatte wrote
Sep 16, 2009 at 17:41

i think like 2-3 lbs. basically a coil forkvs air, the wheelset, and the cranks are where the 7 I is going to be hevier.

lcstay10 wrote
Aug 28, 2009 at 17:49
stock it is 7.1, but there is a travel limeter that limits it, by taking it out you get 7.7 inches the sx will be a better pedaling bike, but iv ridden all 3 and my demo pedals better than a bottlerocket. comes down to how much you want to suffer on the uphills vs how much fun you want to rip on the dh. i chose the demo and im very happy

lcstay10 wrote
Aug 28, 2009 at 16:09
for it being a fr/dh bike, its really not that bad. its around 39 lbs stock so your not pedaling a super heavy bike. but, the hammershmidts are a godsent. iv been able to keep up with people on nomads/ slayers at the local trails, and destroy them on the dh parts. the demo 7 is just such a fun bike to ride. much more so than the 8. it jumps so much better and loves being in the air. i highly recomend it. only issue with pedaling it is the plushness of the suspention. i can set up my solo air totem to climb fairly well, (almost lock it out) but the rear is just so supple, it bobs when your out of the saddle, but not alot when your seated. let me know if you have anyymore questions.
